That Legal staff be directed to attend in opposition to the appeal by Basim Salman before the Ontario Municipal Board regarding Committee of Adjustment Decision C.A.V. A/194/2011 (453 Wedgewood Drive).

That the Town not participate in the appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board regarding Committee of Adjustment Decision B11/21/1612 (303 Allan Street).

That the following recommendation pertaining to Item 6a, of the Heritage Oakville Advisory Committee minutes from its meeting on February 14, 2012, be approved, as follows: 6.a. Heritage Permit Application HP01/12-42.20D 237 Dundas Street West - Salvage of portion of Kaitting House and demolition of remaining materials - Report from Planning Services Department, January 27, 2012 T hat Heritage Permit Application HP01/12-42.20D for the salvage of a portion of the walls of the Kaitting House and demolition of the remaining materials at 237 Dundas Street West, as attached in Appendix A to the report dated January 27, 2012 from Planning Services, be

That the following recommendation pertaining to Item 6b, of the Heritage Oakville Advisory Committee minutes from its meeting on February 14, 2012, be approved and the remainder of the minutes be received: b. Heritage Permit Application HP03/12-42.20S 50 Second Street - New addition and restoration work - Report from Planning Services Department, February 6, 2012 1. That Heritage Permit Application HP03/12-42.20S for a new addition and restoration work at 50 Second Street, as attached in Appendix A to the report dated February 6, 2012 from Planning Services, be approved subject to the following: a. That the brick cladding on the original house not be painted as proposed; and b. That samples and final details on the exterior colours, zinc cladding and wood cladding be submitted to Planning Services (Heritage) for final approval; 2. That heritage permit approval be obtained for landscape work, including details on the driveway, pathways, patios, fences and other landscaping components; and 3. That this heritage permit expire two years from the date of final approval by Council.

That the Economic Development 2011 Annual Report and related presentation be received.

That this meeting proceed beyond the hour of 10:00 p.m., but no later than 10:30 p.m.

That this Committee resolve into a closed meeting session for the purpose of dealing with a matter pertaining to litigation or potential litigation and solicitor-client privilege with respect to Item C-3, and personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal employees with respect to Item C-4, an item of new business added to the agenda.

That legal staff be instructed to present to the Ontario Municipal Board the modifications to the Livable Oakville Plan detailed in the confidential report dated February 8, 2012, and the confidential memorandum from the Legal Department dated February 27, 2012.
