Community Services Committee

That the staff report entitled “Sustainable Green Fleet Procedure – Implementation Progress” dated May 14, 2010, from the Environmental Policy Department, be received.

That the Clean Air Strategy, as outlined in the report from Environmental Policy dated May 20, 2010, be endorsed.

That the proposed pylon sign for Glen Abbey Community Centre, as illustrated in Appendix A of the report from the Recreation and Culture Department dated May 11 2010, be approved; and 2. That the design of the pylon sign as illustrated in Appendix A be the standard for future pylon signs for town owned facilities.

That Dorval Drive between Lakeshore Road West and Speers Road be transferred from the Region of Halton to the Town of Oakville effective July 1, 2010; 2. That Burloak Drive between Wyecroft Road/Harvester Road and the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) be transferred from the Town of Oakville to the Region of Halton effective July 1, 2010; and 3. That Schedules A and D, as amended, of the Regional Road Maintenance Agreement between the Town of Oakville and the Region of Halton, be approved, subject to Region of Halton concurrence.

That the minutes of the Environmental Strategic Plan Advisory Committee meeting of April 28, 2010, be received.
