Site Plan Committee Meeting

That the minutes from the Site Plan Committee meeting of May 11, 2010, be approved.

That the application by Salmona Tregunno Inc., on behalf of the Halton District School Board (site plan file number: SP1611.008/03) be approved, subject to the conditions contained in Appendix A of the report dated May 26, 2010 from the Planning Services Department.

That the application by Salmona Tregunno Inc., on behalf of Halton District School Board (site plan file number: SP 1606.002.06), be approved subject to the conditions contained in Appendix A of the report dated May 17, 2010, from the Planning Services Department. 2. That staff from Urban Forestry be requested to attend the site and assess the two trees identified for tree removal in the Arborist Report, to determine whether tree removal is in fact required due to the health of the trees. If tree removal is not required, an Arborist Report Addendum or letter from the owner shall be provided, confirming that removal of the existing two trees will not take place. If tree removal is required, then tree replacement shall occur in accordance with the Town’s Tree Replacement Policy. 3. That the Landscape Plan be amended to provide for the addition of additional screening and buffering, including large calliper coniferous trees (evergreens) to be planted along the west side of the proposed parking lot, to the satisfaction of the Mayor, and additional screening and buffering adjacent to the property located at 306 Maple Grove Drive.

That the application by Makrimichalos Cugini Architects, on behalf of the Halton Catholic District School Board (site plan file number: SP1523.002/12) be approved, subject to the conditions contained in Appendix A of the report dated May 28, 2010 from the Planning Services Department; and (continued) 2. That the Landscape Plan be amended to provide for the addition of additional screening and buffering along the westerly side lot line adjacent to the sports playing field, to the satisfaction of the Mayor, in addition to the 12 tree plantings already proposed.

That the application by Shore Tilbe Irwin and Partners, on behalf of the Corporation of the Town of Oakville, (site plan file number: SP1628.040/01) be approved, subject to the conditions contained in Appendix A of the report dated May 27, 2010 from the Planning Services Department.

That the application by Keeren Design Inc., on behalf of the property owner (site plan file number: SP 1728.055.01), be approved subject to the conditions contained in Appendix A of the report dated May 17, 2010, from the Planning Services Department.

That the site plan application by Silgold Developments Inc., (SP.1413.034/02), be approved subject to the conditions contained in Appendix A of the report dated May 18, 2010, from the Planning Services Department.
