That this meeting proceed into a Committee of the Whole session.

That the report dated June 15, 2011 from Planning Services regarding the Notice of Intention to Demolish for 121 East Street be received.

That Planning Services Report PD-053-11, Regional Official Plan Amendment No. 39 dated June 2011, to implement phasing and Best Planning Estimates (2011-2031), dated June 2011, be received for information. 2. That the June 2011 Best Planning Estimates of Population, Occupied Dwelling Units and Employment for the Period 2011-2031, dated June 2011 as prepared by the Region of Halton, be endorsed.

That the notice of intention to designate be issued under Section 29, Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act , for the GE Lamp Plant Office Building at 420 South Service Road East.

That the following recommendation pertaining to Item 6b, of the Heritage Oakville Advisory Committee minutes from its meeting on June 14, 2011, be approved and the remainder of the minutes excluding item 6a be received: 6.b. Heritage Permit Application HP21/11-42.20M 283 MacDonald Road - New Garden Shed 1. That Heritage Permit Application HP21/11-42.20M for removal of the existing garden shed and construction of a new garden shed at 283 MacDonald Road as attached in Appendix A to the report dated May 24, 2011 from Planning Services and as described on the four drawings as circulated by staff labeled as ‘Proposed Storage Shed’ dated June 8, 2011, be approved; 2. That any changes to the existing proposal which are considered by staff to be minor in nature be submitted to Planning Services (Heritage) for final approval; and 3. That this heritage permit expire two years from the date of final approval by Council.

That the following recommendation pertaining to Item 6a, of the Heritage Oakville Advisory Committee minutes from its meeting on June 14, 2011, be approved: 6.a. Heritage Permit Application HP19/11-42.20T 299 Trafalgar Road - Construction of second storey rear addition 1. That Heritage Permit Application HP19/11-42.20T for a new second storey rear addition at 299 Trafalgar Road as attached in Appendix A to the report dated May 27, 2011 from Planning Services, be approved; 2. That any changes to the existing proposal which are considered by staff to be minor in nature be submitted to Planning Services (Heritage) for final approval; and 3. That this heritage permit expire two years from the date of final approval by Council.

That this Committee resolve into a closed meeting session for the purpose of dealing with a matter pertaining to litigation or potential litigation and solicitor-client privilege with respect to Confidential Discussion Item C-1 - 394 Lakeshore Road West - OMB Hearing.

That staff be authorized to proceed in the appeals filed with the Ontario Municipal Board in Case No. PL100710 substantially in accordance with Option 1 described in the confidential report from the Legal Department dated June 1, 2011; and 2. That the remainder of the recommendations contained in the confidential report from the Legal Department dated June 1, 2011, be approved.

That the report and recommendations of the Committee of the Whole be approved.

That the following by-law(s) be passed: 2011-071 A by-law to declare that certain land is not subject to part lot control - (Block 25, Plan 20M-1070 and Block 1, Plan 20M-1075 – National Homes (Westmount 9) Inc.) 2011-080 A by-law to confirm the proceedings of a meeting of Council.
