Heritage Oakville Advisory Committee

That the minutes of the Heritage Oakville Advisory Committee meeting of October 28, 2025, be approved.

That a Notice of Intention to Designate be issued under section 29, Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act for the property at 515 Esplanade.

1. That the draft Cultural Heritage Evaluation Report, attached as Appendix B to the report dated January 13, 2026, from Planning and Development, be endorsed; and 2. That Appleby College be recognized as a cultural heritage landscape and move into Phase Three: Implementation of Protection Measures and the creation of the associated designation by-law.

1. That Heritage Permit Application HP001/26-42.20L for the alterations and additions to 3175 Lakeshore Road West, as attached in Appendix B to the report dated January 13, 2026, from the Planning & Development Department, be approved subject to the following conditions: a. The exterior buff brick cladding remains unstained; b. The stucco and half-timbering in the gable ends is not covered or clad with board and batten; c. The approval of final details on the new garage, trim, and replacement windows by Heritage Planning staff; 2. That this heritage permit expires two years from the date of final approval by Council.
