Heritage Oakville Advisory Committee

That this item be deferred to March 2024 Heritage Oakville Advisory Committee.

That the property at 1312 Lakeshore Road East be removed from the Oakville Register of Properties of Cultural Heritage Value or Interest; and, That, prior to demolition, the property owners allow for the salvage of materials from the house, particularly the stone from the chimney.

That Heritage Permit Application HP037/23-42.20K for the reconstruction of non-historic wings of the house and reconstruction of the roof of the historic house at 302 King Street, as attached in Appendix B to the report dated November 14, 2023 from Planning Services, be approved subject to the following: That final details on the windows, doors, trim, cladding materials and paint colours be submitted to Heritage Planning staff for final approval; and That this heritage permit expire two years from the date of final approval by Council.

That a notice of intention to designate be issued under section 29, Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act for the following properties: Holyrood House at 2 Holyrood Avenue; Holyrood Estate Pillars at 24 Holyrood Avenue; Snyder House at 311-313 Macdonald Road; Cuthbertson House at 323 Macdonald Road; Dowding House at 429 Macdonald Road; and Crossley House at 383 Spruce Street

That the minutes of the Heritage Oakville Advisory Committee meeting of October 24, 2023 be approved.

That the report “Review of Development Application – 42 Lakeshore Road West”, dated November 14, 2023 from Planning Services, be received.

That a notice of intention to designate be issued under section 29, Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act for the following properties: 1. Holyrood House at 2 Holyrood Avenue; 2. Holyrood Estate Pillars at 24 Holyrood Avenue; 3. Snyder House at 311-313 Macdonald Road; 4. Cuthbertson House at 323 Macdonald Road; 5. Dowding House at 429 Macdonald Road; and 6. Crossley House at 383 Spruce Street
