In their own words, via the Town

Peter is the Town Councillor, representing Ward 4 of the Town of Oakville since 2018. Additionally, he served as the Chair of Halton Region’s Natural Heritage Advisory Committee (NHAC) until 2018 and was previously the Chair of the Ecological and Environmental Advisory Committee (EEAC) for Halton Region, advising on all matters relating to natural heritage, ecology and the environment. Peter is an accomplished supply chain executive with over 25 years of experience driving sustainable value chain improvement in health care and at such companies as Bell Canada, GlaxoSmithKline, LifeLabs (formerly MDS Diagnostics) and Brookfield Johnson Controls (now Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions). Peter joined Mohawk Medbuy in September 2020 and is responsible for overseeing operations and interaction with Member hospitals and health authorities, as well as positioning Mohawk Medbuy to provide additional value to other hospital activities and services. Immediately prior, Peter was Senior Director, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Unity Health Toronto, a health network comprised of Providence Healthcare, St. Joseph’s Health Centre, and St. Michael's Hospital in downtown Toronto. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, Peter was seconded by the Ontario Government to lead Ontario Health’s COVID-19 Supply Chain SSO Task Force, which was charged with leveraging resources and expertise to source, clinically evaluate and distribute PPE and other medical supplies for health care workers across the province during the pandemic. Mohawk Medbuy has played an integral and ongoing role in those efforts. Further, Peter has a passion for playing and coaching sports. He coached 45 teams over 12 years with the Oakville Soccer Club (OSC) and received the “Coach of the Year” honours in 2013 and 2016.
